So I graduated today. Finally. It was great. I’m happy and there are all kinds of bittersweet memories running through my head. I can’t wait for university to begin. For those of you who don’t know I’m going to the HKUST Business School. The term begins in the end of August and some of my close friends will also be attending the same university, one or two even the same program! Anyway, I don’t feel like writing much so instead I will as always leave you with pictures (hosted on Flickr and Facebook).

Today was our final dress rehearsal before the real thing tomorrow evening. We will be hosting the show for three nights in a row, and I’ll try to post pictures up here but most of them will probably end up Facebook rather than Flickr. We’re doing well, but the microphone/sound system is definitely against us (as it always is in this school) so it will be tough.
Oh yeah, I’m Thenardier in the school edition of the famous Les Miserables play. I believe my school is the second in Asia to do this school edition of the musical after KGV did it last year.
I’ll be going to Chiang Mai, Thailand on Saturday (Oct. 20) for my senior year leadership camp and I will be coming back to Hong Kong on the 28th of the same month. It’s supposed to be a great experience but we won’t know about that until I come back. I will definitely post up pictures here, on Flickr and on Facebook after the trip.
By the way, SAT scores for the October 6th test are coming out on the 25th so that’s something to look forward to (aka dread).
So on Monday I’ll be starting my last year of High School. Is that a good thing or not, I dunno? But anyway, for those of you from my school or for those who are at all interested, here is my schedule for this year:
AP Statistics (Mr. Raybayud)
AP English Literature (Ms. Taylor)
Journalism (Mrs. Settle)
Global Studies (Mrs. Wing)
Honors PE (Mr. Sexton)
Art & Digital Design (Mrs. J. Chan)
Yeah, I’m taking it easy this year. Last year I was taking AP Calculus BC and World History and that was a load of work. Not that English Lit. won’t be but at least I’ve got less math this year. By the way, I got a 4 for the Calculus BC exam and a 5 (woot!) for World History. I just need at least one 3 in either Stats or English Lit. to get that AP Scholar award. Still gotta work on that GPA that I screwed over in grade 9 and 10. Wish me luck.
So after a 10-day hiatus from school life, it all starts again tomorrow; daily 1.5 hour Calculus classes, homework, more studying, after school clubs, soccer team and all that are coming again. Oh yeah, I have to wake up at 6:15 again; something I haven’t done for 10 days. On a happier note, I’ll see all my friends again and that’s great. I have Calculus and World History AP exams in May which isn’t something I look forward to but know that I have to work for them – a lot. And now I’m off.
