Hahaha, perhaps you don't realize that America is so big that we all have different accents, depending on which area of the U S we live in, and grew up in. There is no '1 size fits all' American accent, lol. Just compare how people speak from New Jersey, Louisiana, or California! All are v v different, so give my favorite singer a break, lol.
