So I just checked out Apple.com today and noticed that it had a complete redesign. Gone is the many-year-old glossy tab bar at the top and there is now a sleek gray/silver gradient with much fewer tabs. The current background is black and OS X Leopard has been released. By the way, there’s also a Safari 3 Public Beta for Windows XP and Vista now. The website promises speeds up to 2 times faster than Internet Explorer and it looks pretty sleek with a design resembling iTunes for Windows.
Pretty cool stuff, go check it out

Have you tried Safari 3 the new version?
I tried it actually, it’s pretty good.
Although there are few problems with it, which Apple should probably fix soon.
Personally I couldn’t care less for another browser for Windows. Even on Mac OS X I use firefox most of the time because it just too superior to anything else. After using Safari 3 for Windows for a few minutes I was tired of it, I didn’t know how to easily remove the bookmarks bar and it felt too awkward using a Mac OS X interface on Windows XP, just like it does every time I use iTunes.
I understand what Apple is trying to do but I think its not going to have much of an impact in the Windows world because of compatibility and such.
