2007 HK Rugby Sevens

Thanks to my friend’s dad I got a Friday ticket and was able to go to the Rugby Sevens. And instead of writing about it let me just explain myself in pictures.

I’ve never been a rugby fan but after the Sevens I think rugby is an awesome sport, especially the sevens fast-paced, nonstop, League rules game. I’ve also learned a lesson: I’m going to go and buy the tickets early in the morning in December because half a day is not enough. The atmosphere in HK Stadium is just spectacular, the rugby is great, the people are great and it’s just awesome.

Pictures from the event are on Flickr and here are a few for you to see.

This is as much of the stadium as I could take with my digital camera.

GTA IV

All the gamers out there already know about this but as a personal note to myself in the future, a trailer for GTA IV was released on the 29th of this month and depicts the next GTA title being set in basically New York City but still under the name of Liberty City. All I can tell you from watching that trailer is that the game is going to have extreme graphics, a detailed city and most importantly, a reason for me to buy or find a friend with a PS3 in the coming future. GTA, woot! And F You Jack Thompson.

Tsar Bomba

If you thought the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki during World War II were devastating, check out this thing (+picture) which was 3000 times more destructive than Little Boy. Fortunately for us, the crazy bomb has already been blown up in 1961 but just imagine if it were used today on a large city.

Hair. Cut.

So I went to the barber yesterday and cut off months worth of hair off of my head. My hair is now of a medium length and it will definitely take many months to grow it to the state it was a day ago but that is my plan: to have it long by the time I visit Ukraine in the summer. I might post up a pic of the new haircut in the following days.

P.S. I seem to be coming down with a cold or something so that sucks.

Two Years Now

Yep, today’s the day that my blog turned 2. Not much else to say really, but here’s the blog’s day of birth and its first birthday. That sounds gay yeah, I don’t really think of my blog as my baby. And here’s some stats for you: the blog currently has 243 posts and 428 comments.
