I got FIFA 07 for my birthday (November 17). Here’s a short review.
It’s not that much different from FIFA 06 but there are definitely some improvements. Player emotions, movements and physics have been detailed. One noticeable feature is that if you shoot the ball, it doesn’t go in the net and stop moving, it actually bounces like a real ball. The goalkeeper’s reactions and AI has clearly been improved. The music is nice as always with FIFA titles but I’m a bit dissapointed that EA didn’t change the commentary, it’s still the same as it was in FIFA 06, with a few additions. I’ve been playing FIFA 06 for months and I’ve memorized the damn commentary already, they should’ve changed it.
I was excited when I found out that the Ukraine national team was included in FIFA 07 but I was quickly upset when I noticed that their uniform was just plain yellow with a small Ukrainian flag on the front. Why didn’t they copy the real uniform (that is this). I mean they did it in FIFA 2006 World Cup, so why not in 07?
Anyway, in the end it’s still an awesome game and I’m currently managing Chelsea in Manager Mode. It’s still addictive, and compared to PES 6 and other soccer titles out there, it is still the best in both graphics and gameplay in my opinion.

Really? IMO, the PES series are the best in terms of gameplay.
I don’t know about that. I tried playing PES 6 on the PS2 a few weeks ago and everytime I did a tackle, I got either a yellow or red card. Also, the running and passing was less realistic as were the graphics. I guess I’m just a FIFA fan for life.
