2006 HK Standard Chartered Marathon

Every year there is a Hong Kong Standard Chartered Marathon in Hong Kong. Many people take part (I think 35,000 this year). Anyway, the events just started about 2 hours ago and the half marathon (22 km) just started a few minutes ago. The marathon (42 km) will commence in only a few minutes. I took this picture from my apartment (69 floors up) of the massive amount of people actually taking part. Now I only see about 10 people or so; the slowpokes you know. I have pictures of it from last year as well. No one from my family is participating (24 miles, no way) but it’s still fun to watch on TV. It’s usually the guys from Kenya who win. Here’s a picture:
