Reactivity in Metals

Last week we did an investigation in Chemistry where we tested the reactivity of certain metals in the “Activity Series of the metals”. It was a very easy investigation and took little effort. Now I sit before the computer doing my lab on this experiment and the questions are so trivial and grade-1 like it’s not even funny. We did the experiment with three different metals: zinc, lead and copper. I put the results in the table and showed that zinc is the most reactive, then Lead and then Copper (least reactive). Here’s an example of a question on the lab:

Tin is less active than zinc but more active than lead. How would a strip of tin have reacted in this investigation?

Woah?! Well it would have reacted more than lead and less than zinc. What kind of question is that? There are more similar questions all over the paper and I feel like it is a waste of time. /Rant over.

Anyway, school is fine and now I’m off to that dumb lab again.
