I did it! I installed iPodLinux on my 2nd generation iPod mini. It wasn’t that complicated of a process as a matter of fact. I was having a few problems in the beginning with a blank screen but then I restored my iPod, installed Linux on it and it worked.
There’s nothing really amazing about having iPodLinux on your iPod except for the fact that people have created a way to watch videos on non-video iPods and I really want to try it out. So now I’m off to install that video application thing and see if I can watch black and white videos on my mini’s 1-inch screen. Imagine the possibilites.
UPDATE: The video is working. Of course video on a black and white 1-inch screen isn’t all awesome but it’s still cool.
UPDATE: LMAO. I can play Doom on it.
