Spammed

Spam sucks, but everyone knows that already. Spam is annoying. And it was here. And I installed Bad Behavior and hoping it won’t come back again (or at least not as much).

What’s up, cops?

I have a question for those few cops in New Orleans: why the hell did you guys beat up some rather elderly man when he appeared to have done nothing unusual except getting drunk and walking on the streets of the city?

Do you think Hurricane Katrina and it’s devastation is a reason for you to act like this. Do you think I care if you are seperated from your families and work overtime and got angry and decided to beat up, quite brutally if I may say so myself, some innocent man walking on the streets? No, I don’t. Also note the victim of the beatings was black. I hear of this happening in LA all the time and it disgusts me. What is wrong with these people animals.

Smogless

Why has the Hong Kong air been rather clean lately? I’ll tell you why: because the factories up in China are closed. The reason they’re closed: some kind of “Golden Week” holiday going on in China. The reason the air in Hong Kong is usually gray, stinky and heavy: the wind blows the smoke and chemicals from the factories up in China down to Hong Kong and pollutes the city’s air.

I was walking to the park yesterday and I could actually smell the plants while I usually just smell this weird Idunnowhatthatsmellis.

Could the Hong Kong government say something to the Chinese dudes about the dirty air they bring into Hong Kong? They could at least install some filters at their factories so that the people of Hong Kong can breathe easy and see their city’s beautiful skyline lit up at night. Come on already!

The Million Dollar Homepage

Think about this: selling advertising space on a website for $1 per pixel and making over 200,000 in about a month. Not bad right? Well that’s what a 21 year-old guy in Britain is doing to have money for college. Though he doesn’t need a million for a college I expect he will have that much in just a few months. Not a bad idea, if you ask me.

Dumping Categories

I’ve officially stopped using categories for my posts on this site. Why, you may ask? Well I’ve been wanting to do it for a while now but didn’t know of any other WordPress blogger who had done that so I thought maybe it would be weird. But after going over to Binary Bonsai and reading his article on switching from “taxonomy” to “folksonomy” I decided to get rid of categories and just use “Entries” and “Asides” for my posts.

What this does for me is now I don’t have to waste time deciding what category to put my entries in, it makes it easier for me to find a specific entry and I feel it’s just cleaner and simpler than having 20 or more categories.

At the end of this post, I would usually be looking for what category to put in but now I am just going to click “Publish”.
