To the Porsche 911, the most popular car ever. The Austin Mini comes in second and the Jaguar E Type in third. It is one of my favorite cars of all time but my favorite has to be the original Ford Mustang. And below is a picture of a 1975 Porsche 911 Turbo. Beautiful car.

To find out what I am talking about in this article you MUST have Google Earth.
So here’s the thing. I went over to the Keyhole Community BBS and looked around for some cool places to look at. The Earth is huge and there is no doubt that people will keep finding strange things with Google Earth. But this is just out of the ordinary (link opens in Google Earth).
OK for all of you people who are too boring or lazy to download Google Earth, here’s what I am talking about:

Keep going down that channel (going left) and you’ll see a lot more capsized ships, quite scary. This was caused by the Gulf War back in the 90’s and I guess it never got “cleaned up”.
So I go to a Hong Kong blog, read some of the guy’s posts and all of a sudden I’m doing a Blogthings “thing”. I speak English with an American accent and this little test tells me if I’m a redneck or not. That is what it does, right?
Your Linguistic Profile:
65% General American English
25% Yankee
10% Dixie
0% Midwestern
0% Upper Midwestern
What Kind of American English Do You Speak?
OK, I can understand why I talk a little Dixie, I did live in Florida afterall. Yankee, well American yeah. I don’t speak with a Midwestern or Upper Midwestern accent at all, I guess I’m not a redneck then hehe, no offense people who say “Y’all” or whatever it is. Take a test and see your own linguistic profile.

Google has released an IM/Chat client to rival Microsoft’s MSN Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger and AIM (AOL Instant Messenger). How well will this new free IM software do to compete with these well known and widely used programs? I dunno. I downloaded the software and tried it out and it’s OK, nothing amazing. I haven’t spoken to anyone using it yet so I don’t even know how the “chat” function works. I’ll see soon when my friends start using it. By the way, you have to have a Gmail account to use Google Talk and if you don’t have one (who doesn’t?) just comment here because I have tons of invites to give away. Here’s what Google has to say about its new program:
They say talk is cheap. Google thinks it should be free. Google Talk enables you to call or send instant messages to your friends for free–anytime, anywhere in the world. Google Talk offers you:
• Choice: Get in touch over email, IM or a call
• Quality: Talk through your computer but hear your friends as if they were in the same room
• Convenience: Your Gmail contacts are pre-loaded into Google Talk so inviting or talking to your friends is just a click away.
So go ahead and download it, heck it’s free!
Tomorrow. Yep, that’s right, my grade 10 year is starting tomorrow and will go on all the way until the end of June. A lot of things to look forward to and a couple of things I miss. I miss doing something and not just sitting around at home wasting my time in front of the computer or watching TV or sitting around on the couch reading nonfiction books. I probably won’t be saying this in a few days after I start getting homework. For all of those who don’t know, my school requires the students to wear a “very” mandatory school uniform that consists of a white shirt with a school emblem, navy blue pants and black leather “school” shoes during the warmer months. I got my new school shoes on Sunday because the ones from last year looked like remnants of a rubber tire. Now I have nice and shiny new shoes.
I already packed my backpack for tommorow. I put it on on and it felt strange to have something on my back after I haven’t had something on my back for nine months but a t-shirt. Feels heavy. Brand new, clean notebooks, empty binders and stationery are now the things that fill my backpack.
OK, here’s the list of classes I’m gonna be taking this year:
Grade 10 Biology (SBI2C)
Grade 10 Mandarin (FLM2C)
Grade 10 English (ENG2C)
Grade 10 Art (ART2C)
Grade 10 Physics and Chemistry (SCF2C)
Grade 11 World History (HWH3C)
Grade 12 Pre-Calculus (MPC4C)
So that makes four grade 10 classes, two grade 11 classes and one grade 12 class. Not bad. I will also be taking the following Extra Curriculur Activities:
Soccer B Team (might upgrade to A Team if allowed)
Computer Design Club (or something like that)
Some things have changed this year in school. Homeroom is now no longer in the morning but after lunch and lunch starts at 12:30 instead of 12:45, 15 minutes easier for me as I starve by 12:45, especially when I eat breakfast at around 6:30 in the morning. All my teachers are new (to me at least) except for my Mandarin teacher. There are quite a few new teachers this year.
Anyway, while I am away at school, I might not be posting here as much but don’t worry, I’m not planning to shut this blog down (NEVER!) and I will try my best to post as often as possible without sacrificing my school work for it. Good luck to all my school mates and I need some luck too.
