Today was the high school graduation for the grade 12 students leaving our school and going to college or to work in some cases. I have gone to the graduations 4 years in a row now and this year was no exception. Usually I just sit around and watch and waste my time, but this year I was actually helping. I was pouring drinks at the food stall and also being an usher. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be and many of my friends were there. We had balloon fights (hey, it’s not childish!), played soccer in the rain and ate a lot of food leftover from the graduation party.
Today was officially the last day of school for students, not everyone had to come, only people helping or people who want to watch the graduation. It’s raining again which means no soccer on a real pitch for me, maybe tomorrow.
Gee, I’ll be graduating in only 3 years…
