I haven’t written anything in over a week now because I’ve been busy studying for final exams. Not much going on besides that. After exams, my school has decided that all High School students will do a beach cleanup for community service and then have what they call and “activity day”. We have four choices: Beach Volleyball, Ice Skating, Watching a Movie and going to Ocean Park (theme park). As usual with AIS, we have to pay for everything. I chose to go to the movie, because I suck at volleyball, I suck at ice-skating even more, I’ve been to that crappy theme park enough times and well, movie was the best choice. I just hope they let us watch a good movie and not House of Wax or some crap like that. I think the whole “Activity Day” is quite a dumb idea that is useless. Even more, in the school newspaper, they wrote that it will alleviate exam stress. WTH, it’s after the exams, dumb ones. Anyway, school ends on the 29th of June. Then it is summer, and then it’s school again. Next year, in which I’ll be a grade 10 student I’ll be taking the following courses:
ENG2C: English (Grade 10)
HWH3C: World History (Grade 11)
MPC4C: Pre-Calculus (Grade 12)
SCF2C: Chemistry and Physics (Grade 10)
SBI2C: Biology (Grade 10)
ART2C: Art (Grade 10)
FLM2C: Mandarin (Grade 10)
In other news, Apple will be using Intel processors instead of their IBM PowerPC processors and that should make them faster and cheaper which will make me happy. Unfortunately, it will take about a year before they release Macs with Intel processors.
