Yesterday I got a new model car: 2001 Mini Cooper Red with White Stripes on the hood. I got it as a prize from a stock-trading company in Hong Kong. It was the second prize and 10 lucky winners got it, one of them being me. The first prize was an actual Mini Cooper and only one guy won (so lucky…). I picked it up from their offices and then when I got home I wanted to know how much the price of this model was so I checked. It was made by AUTOart (website). They make really amazing die-cast models which are also very expensive. Well this car would set me off almost US$80 or about $600 here in Hong Kong. Definitely not cheap, my most expensive model yet. Well, it is really detailed, I can tell you that. It even has disc brakes, carpet texture inside and just very authentic overall. I took some pictures of it and they can be find in my Photos page (the Model Car Collection) right here.
Also today, I am still walking around with my twin-block, read yesterday’s post if you don’t know what it is. It still hurts and I try not to take it off except for eating. The cold got better but it still exists. Well not much else has been happening today, so that’s it.
