Once again, some idiot on eBay has decided to sell something he thinks is worth a lot and decides to sell it for a lot, I mean a lot. The dude wants to sell some domains like gmessenger.com and birdflu.org for a whopping $50,000,000. I mean come on, and the funny thing is that at the bottom he posts:
The asking price is the real price…
That cracked me up. Well, I dare someone to bid on that, hehe. I see that he is trying to make Google buy it, but I hope that a small part of his brain is sure that he will never sell it for 50 million dollars.

I got the new album by the band Green Day ‘American Idiot’ and I like it a lot. The instrumental is really good, very different from what I have seen from recent rock bands. It has a bit of Beatles in there but it is just something else. The drummer and the guitarist play really well. One of my favorite songs on the CD is “Jesus of Suburbia’. It is over 9 minutes long and the music kind of changed throughout the song but not too tremendously that you get annoyed. It’s definitely not a song for people who don’t enjoy rock because it is quite heavy. Most of the songs on the CD are great, ‘Boulevard of Broken Dreams’ being one of the best.
The band Green Day has been around for quite a few years already and have made a number of albums before American Idiot. The reason they are famous now (they won a Grammy) is because of this new album which made rock popular again. Well, if you want to buy the CD, (it’s probably sold in most music stores) go over here. I recommend it as a good CD and give it a 10/10.
As many of you may already know there has been another earthquake in Indonesia. Here is a quote from the Associated Press:
BANDA ACEH, Indonesia – A powerful earthquake struck off Indonesia’s west coast late Monday, killing hundreds of people whose homes collapsed on them and spreading panic across the Indian Ocean that another killer tsunami was on the way. Indonesia’s vice president predicted up to 2,000 deaths.
Fears of a second tsunami catastrophe in just over three months eased within hours, as officials in countries at risk reported their coasts clear of the type of earthquake-spawned waves that ravaged a dozen countries in Asia and Africa on Dec. 26.
Well it sure is good to hear that there probably won’t be another tsunami but there is always a small chance it could happen again. It’s so sad to hear about things like this because you can’t exactly stop natural disasters.
A first grade teacher explains to her class that she is an American.
She asks her students to raise their hands if they were American too.
Not really knowing why but wanting to be like their teacher, their hands explode into the air like flashy fireworks.
There is, however, one exception. A girl named Kristen has not gone along with the crowd.
The teacher asks her why she has decided to be different.
“Because I am not an American.”
“Then”, asks the teacher, “What are you?”
“I’m a proud Canadian,” boasts the little girl.
The teacher is a little perturbed now, her face slightly red. She asks Kristen why she is a Canadian.
“Well, my mom and dad are Canadians, so I’m a Canadian too.”
The teacher is now angry. “That’s no reason,” she says loudly. “What if your mom was a moron, and your dad was a moron. What would you be then?”
A pause, and a smile. “Then,” says Kristen, “I’d be an American.”
There was a flood in a village.
One man said to everyone, “I’ll stay! God will save me!”
The flood got higher and a boat came and the man in it said “Come on mate, get in!”
“No” replied the man. God will save me!
The flood got very high now and the man had to stand on the roof of his house.
A helicopter soon came and the man offered him help.”
No, God will save me!” he said
Eventually he died by drowning.
He got by the gates of heaven and he said to God “Why didn’t you save me?”
God replied, “For goodness sake! I sent a boat and a helicopter. What more do you want!”
